dsk architects is exploring the idea of using custom exterior elevators as shareable rooms –   that can be reserved – to ‘expand’ the living space in high-rise residential buildings. 

Today, we often leave our living room unused as our media systems and access to personal entertainment gets smaller and more portable.

 

So why not share that living room with other people when it’s not in use? 


The energy and cost of material to build a 20-story stack of living rooms is exceptionally high in comparison to the energy it would take to operate 1 or 2 mobile rooms over the span of 30 years.
